LPIC-1 certification requires passing both the 101 and 102 exams. LPIC-2 requires passing both the 201 and 202 exams while holding the required lower-level certification. LPIC-3 certification is awarded in a specialization by passing one of the 300, 303, 305, or 306 exams. Each exam is generally 60 questions in 90 minutes and includes multiple-choice and fill-in-the-blank items. Higher-level certifications require the appropriate lower-level certification.
