Frequently asked questions

How many LPIC questions can I solve for free?

180 questionsYou can practice all of them for free. There is no need to register as a member, and it supports regular study by specifying the set, subject, difficulty level, and number of questions, today's review, overcoming weaknesses, and mock exams.

What level does it correspond to?

Currently it contains LPIC-1 / LPIC-2 / LPIC-3 problems. LPIC-1Ha101・102exam、LPIC-2Ha201・202exam、LPIC-3Ha300・303・305・306exam. Since you can narrow down your search by exam scope (examination code), you can practice only on the subjects you are about to take.

What is the difference between LPIC-2 and LPIC-3 and LPIC-1?

LPIC-1 covers basic Linux operations and system administration, and LPIC-2 covers advanced management of kernel storage networks. LPIC-3 is a specialized area divided into mixed environments (300), security (303), virtualization and containerization (305), and high availability and storage clusters (306), and if you pass any one subject, you will be certified in that field. Lower level certification is required for higher level exams.

Can it be used as a countermeasure against LinuC?

Yes. LPIC and LinuC are similar in scope and require common knowledge such as command operations, package management, file systems, shells, networks, and security. However, the test subject is a different organization, and the scope does not match completely. There are differences especially at higher levels, so please check the exam range on each official website for the final confirmation.

What is the format of the mock exam?

The format is 60 questions and 90 minutes. Each subject in the LPIC is 60 questions and 90 minutes long, regardless of your level, so you can take the test under the same conditions no matter which exam area you choose. During the exam, correct or incorrect answers are not displayed, and you can manage the order of answers using the unanswered list and review flag. Display automatic grading and subject-specific reviews after submission.

Are there any problems with the input formula (format for writing commands)?

There is. The actual LPIC has multiple-choice questions and fill-in-the-blank questions at all levels, so it also supports questions in which you answer by directly entering the command name. Full path notation such as "/bin/ls" and the prompt symbol at the beginning are automatically absorbed and determined.

Where should I start studying?

We recommend that you first check your current location by asking questions randomly, and then narrow down the topics for which you have a low percentage of correct answers and review them. At Level 1, "GNU and Unix Commands" requires a large amount of memorization of commands and options, and it is easy to see a difference in scores. At higher levels, there will be more questions asking about the item names and paths of configuration files, so checking them by hand will help you remember them.

Is it an official past question?

No. These are original mock questions created for learning purposes, based on published exam objectives. This is not a reprint of an official question.

Where is my learning history saved?

It will be saved in the browser you are using (LocalStorage). There is no automatic synchronization to another device, and if you delete your browser data, your history will also be deleted.
