LinuC Level 1 certification requires passing both the 101 and 102 exams. Level 2 requires a valid Level 1 certification plus passing both the 201 and 202 exams. Level 3 requires a valid Level 2 certification plus passing either the 3PS or 3SS exam. Each exam has about 60 questions and lasts 90 minutes; because the actual exam includes a five-minute post-exam survey, effective question-solving time is about 85 minutes. The 300, 303, and 304 exams are available only through November 30, 2026, so new candidates should check the 3PS and 3SS exams. LinuC is a Linux engineer certification for Japan conducted by LPI-Japan, and LPIC is an international certification conducted by Linux Professional Institute. The questions are similar in scope and require common knowledge such as command operations, package management, file systems, shells, networks, and security. However, LinuC explicitly includes virtualization, containers, cloud, and open source culture in the scope of questions, and the higher the level, the greater the difference in structure. After deciding which test you want to take, check the range of questions on the relevant official website.
LPI-Japan has announced that the exam period for Level 3 300, 303, and 304 exams is until November 30, 2026. Current Level 3 certification is achieved by passing either the Platform Specialist 3PS exam or the Security Specialist 3SS exam. This site also maintains questions from previous exams for study purposes, but if you are planning to take the exam in the future, please check the question range for 3PS and 3SS.
The format is approximately 60 questions and 90 minutes. LinuC has approximately 60 questions and 90 minutes for each subject regardless of level, so you can take the test under the same conditions no matter which exam area you choose. During the exam, correct or incorrect answers are not displayed, and you can manage the order of answers using the unanswered list and review flag. Display automatic grading and subject-specific reviews after submission.
There is. LinuC is a combination of multiple-choice and short-answer questions, and includes keyboard input questions. This site also supports questions that are answered by directly entering the command name, and full path notation such as "/bin/ls" and the prompt symbol at the beginning are automatically absorbed and determined.
We recommend that you first check your current location by asking random questions, and then narrow down the topics you have a low percentage of correct answers and review. At Level 1, there is a large amount of memorization of commands and options, so it is easy to see a difference in scores, so repeating the input-type questions will help you become familiar with them. At higher levels, there will be more questions asking about the item name and path of the configuration file.
No. These are original mock questions created for learning purposes, with reference to the published question range. This is not a reprint of an official question.
It will be saved in the browser you are using (LocalStorage). Since it uses a separate storage area from the LPIC version problem collection, the history will not be mixed up. There is no automatic synchronization to another device, and if you delete your browser data, your history will also be deleted.
