How many DS test questions can I solve for free?

You can practice all the questions included for free. There is no need to register as a member, and it supports regular study by specifying the set, category, difficulty level, and number of questions, today's review, overcoming weaknesses, and mock exams.

Is it an official past question?

No. Official past questions for the DS test have not been released. The questions on this site are original mock questions created for learning purposes with reference to the skill checklist published by the Data Scientist Association and the model curriculum for mathematics, data science, and AI (literacy level).

What is the format of the mock exam?

This is a 100 questions・100分 format intended for production. The exam doesn't have much time, about 1 minute per question, so you can use it to practice how to allocate your time. During the exam, correct or incorrect answers are not displayed, and you can manage the order of answers using the unanswered list and review flag.

What is the passing line?

Although it is not officially specified, a correct answer rate of about 80% is considered a standard. The pass rate varies from 38% to 66% depending on the exam. Since it is not possible to reach the level by just being good at one area, the shortcut is to perfect all three areas evenly.

Are you eligible to take the exam?

No. Anyone can take the exam. It is a CBT method at test centers nationwide, and you can choose the date, time and venue as long as it is within the test period. It is held about three times a year (around March, June, and November).

Can I also display formulas and SQL problems?

Can be displayed. Since you can use formulas and code blocks in LaTeX notation in the question sentences, options, and explanations, you can practice correlation coefficients, conditional probability formulas, SQL SELECT statements, and Excel functions as they are.

Which area should I study first?

We recommend that you first check your current location with random questions, and then review areas with a low correct answer rate by specifying categories. Business ability tends to be a source of points, and many people tend to have trouble with data science and data engineering ability.

Where is my learning history saved?

It will be saved in the browser you are using (LocalStorage). There is no automatic synchronization to another device, and if you delete your browser data, your history will also be deleted.

This exam is a CBT/multiple choice test, and from the 7th exam in June 2024, the number of questions will increase from 90 to 100 questions, and the exam time will be 100 minutes. There are no qualifications to take the test, and it is held about three times a year (around March, June, and November). The examination fee is 10,000 yen for adults, 5,000 yen for students, and 4,000 yen for university members. The passing score has not been announced, but the standard is around 80% correct answer rate, and the passing rate ranges from 38% to 66%.
