The mock exam uses an exam-style 65 questions / 90 minutes format. Correctness is hidden while you are taking the test, and you can use the unanswered-question list and review flags to manage your order. With roughly 83 seconds per question, it is also useful for practicing when to move on and return to difficult questions later.
A score of 700 or higher on the 100–1000 scaled score is required to pass. Of the 65 questions, 50 are scored and the remaining 15 are unscored evaluation questions. Because candidates are not told which questions are scored, you should treat every question as if it counts.
In addition to single-choice questions, there are also multiple-choice questions. This site uses a single-choice format with four choices, so multiple selection itself cannot be reproduced. The questions are arranged in a "choose the most appropriate" format, so supplement your sense of multiple choice with the AWS official practice question set.
There are no prerequisite qualifications and anyone can take the exam. You can take the online proctored exam at any Pearson VUE test center or from home. The certification is valid for 3 years.
Since it is a Foundational level exam, you can aim to pass even if you have no practical experience in construction. However, if you only memorize the correspondence between service names and roles, you will be confused by the options of similar services. If you actually touch the console in the free usage tier, you will be able to clearly judge whether it is right or wrong.
It is stored in LocalStorage in the browser you are using. It is not automatically synced across devices, and clearing your browser data will also delete the history.
