Practice all five domains by exam weight
You can narrow down your exam to 5 areas according to the AWS exam guide, so you can focus on the important applications of basic models and the basics of generative AI.
AWS AIF-C01
This Foundational-level exam tests how well you can connect AI and generative AI concepts with AWS services. It covers five domains; Applications of Foundation Models accounts for 28% and Fundamentals of Generative AI for 24%, together making up more than half of the exam. The questions emphasize choosing between approaches such as fine-tuning and RAG, not just memorizing terminology.

The exam is 90 minutes with 65 questions; 50 are scored and the remaining 15 are unscored evaluation questions. The passing score is 700 on a 100–1000 scaled score, with no separate domain cutoff. Domain weights are AI and ML Fundamentals 20%, Generative AI Fundamentals 24%, Applications of Foundation Models 28%, Responsible AI Guidelines 14%, and Security, Compliance, and Governance for AI Solutions 14%. Question types include single response, multiple response, ordering, and matching. There are no prerequisite certifications. You can test at a Pearson VUE center or by online proctoring, and the certification is valid for three years. Check the AWS official site for the latest fees, scheduling, and exam scope.

No. AWS certification exam content is protected by a nondisclosure agreement, and AWS does not publish official past exam questions. Using dump sites that reproduce actual exam questions violates AWS Certification Program policies and may result in certification penalties. The questions on this site are original practice questions created for study purposes with reference to AWS exam guides and official service documentation.
They are different exams. AIF-C01 (AI Practitioner) is a Foundational-level exam covering AI and generative AI concepts and how they map to AWS services. AIP-C01 (Generative AI Developer - Professional) is a Professional-level exam for developers, with a very different audience and difficulty. Because the names are similar, always confirm the exam code before registering.
The mock exam uses an exam-style 65 questions / 90 minutes format. Correctness is hidden while you are taking the test, and you can use the unanswered-question list and review flags to manage your order. With roughly 83 seconds per question, it is also useful for practicing when to move on and return to difficult questions later.
A score of 700 or higher on the 100–1000 scaled score is required to pass. Of the 65 questions, 50 are scored and the remaining 15 are unscored evaluation questions. There is no separate cutoff by domain, so the result is based on your overall score.
The real exam can include single-response, multiple-response, ordering, and matching questions. This site uses four-choice single-response questions, so it cannot reproduce those formats exactly. Questions are adapted to a “choose the best answer” format; use AWS official practice question sets to become familiar with the actual interaction types.
There are no prerequisite qualifications and anyone can take the exam. AWS recommends 6 months of experience with AI/ML, but it is not required. You can take the online proctored exam at any Pearson VUE test center or from home, and your certification is valid for three years. It will automatically renew if you earn AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer - Associate within the expiration date.
The focus of the questions is different. Generated AI passports and G-tests focus on concepts, legal matters, and ethics that are not dependent on a specific vendor. In addition to the concept, AIF-C01 requires mapping of when to use AWS services such as Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, and Amazon Q. Learning will be more efficient if you solidify the concepts first and then move on to applying AWS services.
Since it is a Foundational level, it is not necessary to be able to derive Transformer formulas. The main issue is how to properly use fine tuning, RAG, and prompt engineering. However, the meaning of parameters such as temperature and tokens is questionable.
It is stored in LocalStorage in the browser you are using. It is not automatically synced across devices, and clearing your browser data will also delete the history.
